The Cleveland Browns and the Baltimore Ravens head into the third quarter of their Week 11 match-up with the Browns leading the Ravens 16-10. Highlights from the first quarter include:
- After a stop by the Browns’ defense to begin the second quarter, Cleveland’s offense couldn’t muster more than a first down of their own. On the ensuing punt, though, the Ravens’ return man muffed it and S Grant Delpit recovered at the 6 yard line.
- Despite the great starting field position, the offense gained zero net yards and had to settle for another short field goal. It did give them their first lead of the game a 6-3, though.
- If the offense can’t do it, everyone else will: the Ravens’ next drive started with DE Myles Garrett sacking Jackson for a loss of 9 yards, and then the next screen pass was bounced into the air and picked by LB Devin Bush for a 23-yard touchdown.
- The Ravens struck right back with a quick touchdown drive, keyed by a 45-yard pass to WR Zay Flowers, cutting the Browns’ lead to 13-10.
- The Browns were going to punt again at the two-minute warning, but Baltimore jumped offsides. It led to a 46-yard field goal to put Cleveland up 16-10 at the half.
