Just before the UFC 322 main card kicked off last night (Sat., Nov. 15, 2025), former Bellator fighter Dillon Danis was involved in a brawl with several Russian fighters, resulting in him being
detained and ultimately kicked out of Madison Square Garden (details here).
During the UFC 322 post-fight press conference (watch here), Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) CEO Dana White revealed the chaos was actually his fault — at least in his eyes — because he didn’t realize who was seated near whom (it has happened before).
“I blame myself for that, actually,” White told reporters. “They came back and told me right before I walked out for the main card that Dillon Danis was here and he’s moving around, sitting in other fighters’ seats and not sitting in his own seat. They asked if they wanted me to throw him out… I asked if he had a ticket, and they said yeah.”
Security then warned White that Jorge Masvidal had vowed to “f—k him up on sight,” prompting White to ask where Masvidal was seated. “They said he was six or seven rows away,” White explained. “I said if the guy has a ticket, let him sit in his seat and do what he’s doing — but keep an eye on him.”
That’s when the oversight hit him.
“It never even crossed my mind — as stupid as it could be — that the entire Muslim Brotherhood was here tonight in the first five rows for Islam,” White said. “As soon as it broke out, I was like, ‘F—k, I know exactly what that is.’ You will never see Dillon Danis at a UFC fight ever again.”
White added that he was asked whether he wanted to press charges, but declined.
Danis has made it very clear he wanted to fight in UFC someday, but it appears that door is slammed shut — ironic considering UFC CBO Hunter Campbell reportedly refused to put him on The Ultimate Fighter years ago because “too controversial.”
At least Danis still has Misfits Boxing … and Twitter.
