Welcome to the Morning Commute
Today we’re talking about Mizzou Football kick-off times.
On Monday, the SEC announced game times for the Week 4 schedule on September 20th. Mizzou’s SEC opener vs South Carolina will officially get a primetime spot.
The Tigers and Gamecocks will kick-off at either 6:00 or 6:30 p.m. CST with the game being televised by ESPN or ABC.
A nationally televised game under the lights between two ranked teams? Mizzou hasn’t hosted ESPN’s College Gameday since 2010 vs Oklahoma. Perhaps there’s a chance for next Saturday looking at the Week 4 schedule. We’ll see.
In other Mizzou Football news — Dominick Guidice has been named SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week.
Dominick Giudice, G, Missouri
- Giudice led the Mizzou offensive front that controlled the trenches against the Kansas Jayhawks.
- Opened holes for 261 rushing yards, led by two 100-yard rushers (Jamal Roberts – 143 yards; Ahmad Hardy – 112 yards).
- Graded out at a team-best 88 percent with zero penalties and zero missed assignments.
True Deck mentions on RockM+ that it was a much-needed bounce back from Guidice.

It’s a cool story about a kansas-hating Mizzou great who now cements himself in yet another aspect of Tiger lore. Congrats, Carter, on being rad.
Carter Arey is HIM!
Two St. Louis natives and the QB1 highlight our Week 2 MV3.
Good to see the former St. Mary’s teammates Kevin Coleman Jr. and Jamal Roberts have a big day vs kU.
With Bryant and Jason Crowe Jr. in place, the only intrigue is whether Gates and his staff can polish off a top-five class. Doing so would mean reeling in four-star forward Tristan Reed and four-star wing Aidan Chronister. But even if MU only lands one more prospect, odds are high that a three-man class would still finish in the top 15 nationally.
Five-Star Toni Bryant is another statement addition in the 2026 class for Dennis Gates and the staff.
Beau Pribula has been waiting years to be the guy he is now. All he needed was someone to give him the opportunity. Thus far, Mizzou fans have to be happy Eli Drinkwitz and his staff offered.
Pribula is making the most out of this opportunity.
Currently, he stands fifth nationally in completion rate (79.1%).
It’s only been two weeks, but Beau Pribula looks like the real deal.
- Over at Rock M+: Much more on Toni Bryant’s commitment to Mizzou, plus Mizzou vs South Carolina game-time, and Dominick Giudice is your SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week. Also, you can vote Beau Pribula for Manning Award Star of the Week.
Later tonight at 8:30 p.m. CST on ESPN — No. 16th ranked Mizzou Volleyball hosts No. 6 Stanford in their home opener at Hearnes. Check out our “Over the Net” podcast with Dylan Heinrich, Colin Simmons, and Matthew Gustafson as they discuss Mizzou’s 2025 expectations and much more.
