What is the story about?
Can you believe we’re halfway through the season? To the Dots.
Dots
- Jedd Fisch met with the media yesterday and as always Christian Caple covered the session. Coach gave an update on Landen Hatchett – he’s probably playing Friday night – and responded to criticism of Demond Williams.
- Fisch’s statements certainly make it sound like changes are coming along the offensive line. Obviously Demond Williams need to step up his play, but improved offensive line play will go a long way in getting this offense to at least at average level.
- The Huskies might not be doing great, but Michael Penix Jr. and the Falcons are lighting up the NFL. He’s now led top offenses in both college and the pros.
- Bijan Robinson at running back certainly helps, but Penix’s return gives them a real threat in the pass to go along with arguably the NFL’s best running back.
- Demond with the sixth fewest air yards per touchdown pass, with 7.8. Matches what we see in the games: very few explosive pass plays go for scores:
- Tuesday throwback to a truly elite football name and a Husky legend!
