Basketball continues, whether we want it to or not. That’s the lesson of March and April. There’s still plenty of hoops ahead, not to mention awards, then playoffs. If you’re looking to make any moves, there’s still plenty of things to hold your interest over at FanDual.
One of those things might be the NBA Rookie of the Year. Kon Knueppel is the odds on favorite as of right now, which might end up being utterly ridiculous down the line. His team’s winning more whereas Cooper Flagg is putting up ridiculous numbers
on a team that can’t seem to buy a win. I asked if you’re following this and invested in who wins.
Three out of the four Mavs fans that are still paying attention want Flagg to win it. I get it. If you’re going to suffer through this depressing season, a nice award at the end would help make it worth it. I’m not that invested. Go check out the list of Rookie of the Year winners and ask how many times that person ends up being the best player in a given class. It’s less than you’d think.
Dealing with a busted bracket?
The Sweet 16 is almost here – who’s still alive? We’re reviewing the week that was in the first week of the NCAA tournament and turning our focus to remaining teams. How bad (or good!) is your bracket? Join us in the SB Nation March Madness Feed and let’s talk about who’s most likely to make a run to glory.
The second question of the week was NCAA Tournament focused. I picked out three guys still playing, kind of at random based on who I’ve seen the fanbase talking about. I’m only allowed three answers in these polls, so this may not be a great question or set of results.
I earnestly would’ve assumed way more interest in Darius Acuff Jr. given how the internet talks about him. He’s not my cup of tea, but that’s neither here nor there. Boozer still draws many eyes.
This last graphic is from the National poll. It’s asking which teams should move east once Seattle rejoins the NBA and Las Vegas gets a team as well.
I’m not that invested either way, but polling being close is at least interesting!
