The Cleveland Browns and New York Jets are set to do battle in East Rutherford, New Jersey (hey, at least the Browns new stadium won’t be in a different state when they move). Two of 14 teams with three or fewer wins this season, the Jets tore things down at the NFL trade deadline while Cleveland was mostly inactive.
Heading on the road to face New York, the Browns got some surprising news on Friday with both TE Harold Fannin Jr. and, more surprisingly, LB Carson Schwesinger practicing. WR Cedric
Tillman was activated on Saturday, while WR Garrett Wilson was the big-name questionable player for the Jets.
Saturday night, there were updates on the three offensive players, with Fannin, Tillman, and Wilson all reportedly playing in the Week 10 matchup:
The update for Cleveland included both offensive stars but no word on Schwesinger’s status:
Given that the Browns star linebacker had a high ankle sprain two weeks ago, the team might be cautious in his recovery despite returning to practice on Friday.
We will have to wait until 90 minutes before kickoff for official word on all of the questionable players in today’s game.
