As the Miami Hurricanes continue the journey of the 2026 regular season, our friends at FanDuel Sportsbook have released odds for the week 3 road game against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.

For Miami, they’re a national championship contender, if not favorite at this point of the year.
With one of the most talented rosters in the country the Canes look to use and explosive offense led by star QB Darian Mensah and all-world WR Malachi Toney, Miami is going to be lighting up scoreboards all over the country all year long.
After dropping 77 points and a program-record 856 yards of offense last week against an overmatched FAMU Rattlers team, Miami will look to deploy their explosive offense again in Winston Salem this Friday night. While the numbers may be lower than last week, they should still be plenty robust. Miami has one of the most explosive offenses in the country, led by the duo of Mensah and Toney, and a run game that is very talented as well and rounding into form.
The Miami defense is fast and physical as well. The secondary is a bit thin with several starters and rotation players out, but those absences gave Miami the ability to shuffle things around last week vs FAMU in preparation for Wake Forest and their spread offense and passing attack. Expect to see the same starters in the secondary this week, with Safety Bryce Fitzgerald moving outside to Cornerback, and true freshman J.J. Dunning starting at Safety alongside Zechariah Poyser.
For Wake Forest, they enter the game at 2-0 (0-0 ACC) after a hard-fought, come from behind victory at Purdue in week 2. They opened the season with a decisive victory over the Akron Zips in week 1. Friday night’s game against Miami marks the ACC opener for Wake Forest.
This is a big line, but an understandable and expected one. Miami is a national championship favorite, loaded with talent, and on a roll. Wake Forest is a middle of the pack ACC team, and even with them being the home team, they’ll have to play well above the ceiling of what we’ve seen thus far this season to cover the spread against Miami.
