Bayern Munich CEO, Jan-Christian Dreesen, has sent fans a clear message on what the club plans to achieve across the Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal and UEFA Champions League (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
“FC Bayern’s ambition has always been to compete for the title in all competitions, and that will not change in the future.” said the former CFO.
Despite a few shaky years for the usually unshakeable Bayern, it’s encouraging to see the club’s philosophy remain the same. How realistic it is, however, is another
question entirely.
‘Die Rekordmeister’ certainly have a strong squad capable of competing domestically. Given how strong European football is right now, especially considering how Premier League sides have strengthened over the summer transfer window, the Champions League may be out of Bayern’s reach.
Football, however, is not played on paper and Vincent Kompany has certainly been building something promising in Munich, so anything is possible.
Out of the Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal and Champions League, how many titles do you think Bayern will win?
