Good morning Gang Green Nation!
Opening day for the New York Jets is fast approaching and one Jet in particular faces a formidable challenge. Rookie right tackle Armand Membou, the Jets’ first round pick in 2025, gets thrown right into the fire on Sunday. Membou struggled a bit during the preseason in pass protection. The Jets’ opponents on Sunday, the Pittsburgh Steelers, feature two outstanding edge rushers in T.J. Watt and Cameron Heyward. This is Membou’s welcome to the NFL moment. How he holds
up will have a significant effect on whether the Jets find success on offense. No pressure there.
