AEW spun the wheel on naming Jay White’s faction. Say goodbye to the Bang Bang Gang. Say hello to the Last Outfit. Oh, wait. Scratch that. Say goodbye to the Last Outfit? Say hello to The Cut?
Collision aired live on Saturday night (Oct. 24, 2026). Switchblade opened the show declaring that his new faction is called the Last Outfit. The members consist of the Bang Bang Gang and the Dogs. The show closed with White standing tall over Jon Moxley and Orange Cassidy. His boys were still named the Last Outfit.
Apparently, the name changed again a few hours after broadcast. AEW posted a backstage promo from White declaring that his group is now called The Cut. They will cut the cancer out of AEW. That cancer being Moxley’s Death Riders.
Writing this at 4 am ET, I don’t know what is going on here. The fan reaction to the name Last Outfit was mixed. Could that have caused an audible from AEW to The Cut? Did AEW jump the gun on trademark issues? That reason has been known to be the root of a quick change from time to time.
