Michigan has a bye in the first three rounds of the tournament and will play on Friday in the quarterfinals. Michigan can win a maximum of three games if
they are to become the tournament champion.
Michigan won the Big Ten Tournament last season and are Big Ten Conference regular season champion this year. Michigan is currently 29-2 and 19-1 in the Big Ten. Michigan’s lone conference loss was against Wisconsin. While the Wolverines have virtually locked up a No. 1-seed in the NCAA Tournament, winning the Big Ten Tournament and earning more hardware heading into March Madness would certainly be a positive development.
