Maryland football has its first commitment of the 2027 class.
Athlete Levi Babin, who attends Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Virginia, announced his commitment to the Terps Wednesday on social media.
Babin stands 6-foot-1, 195 pounds and plays both running back and defensive back at the high school level. He is unranked in 247Sports database.
Babin also has offers from Penn State, West Virginia, Virginia Tech and Rutgers, among others.
Head coach Michael Locksley is now on the board for his 2027 class, hoping to solidify what will be a key recruiting class to hit on for his future as Maryland’s coach.
