The No. 18 ranked TCU volleyball team picked up its first win of the 2026 season Sunday, sweeping UNLV 25-17, 25-16, 33-31 to close out the Players Era Volleyball Showcase in Las Vegas. The Horned Frogs hit .264 as a team and limited the Rebels to a .139 hitting rate. Evan Hendrix posted a double-double with 13 kills and 11 digs for the Horned Frogs (1-1), who hit over .300 in the first two sets. Jalyn Gibson added eight kills on a .444 hitting rate.
Becca Kelley chipped in eight kills, while Rosemary Archer sent out 23 assists and Reese Wilburn followed with 13 assists to pace the TCU attack. Kinsley Young led the front-row defense with five blocks and added six kills on a .455 hitting rate. Alice Volpe anchored the back row with a team-high 14 digs. Aiding the middle was Reese Robins, who collected seven kills on a .455 hitting rate while blocked three total shots in the match.
