Eddie Hall, like most people in the combat sports space, are sick of Dillon Danis.
But the 2017 World’s Strongest Man outweighs the former Bellator MMA welterweight by roughly 200 pounds, which is why Hall has agreed to a crash diet in order to fight Danis at one of the upcoming Misfits Boxing events later this year.
Hall came face-to-face with Danis at Misfits Boxing 22 last weekend in Manchester.
Danis submitted Warren Spencer at Misfits Boxing 22 (highlights here).
“He’s been talking shit for a long time, doing snide comments on the old social media, so I thought he’d put his money where his mouth is tonight,” Hall told Bloody Elbow. “He wanted me to get under 400 pounds, he must think I’m over 400. Well, I’m under 400. So I said, ‘Look, I’ll get under 300 pounds if he shakes hands on it there and then,‘ and he did shake hands, so give me 12 weeks, I will lose 64 pounds, and I will come in and rock his f*cking chin.”
Hall is 1-0 in MMA after squashing Mariusz Pudzianowski last April.
