The first El Clásico of the season takes place on Sunday as Barcelona and Real Madrid renew their rivalry at Camp Nou in a game with massive implications in the early stages of the title race.
Barça will look to make it 10 wins out of 10 in La Liga and could open up a nine-point gap over their biggest rivals with a victory, and there is no doubt José Mourinho’s side will be desperate to steal all three points at the Catalan capital.
This is a game full of stars and game-changers on both sides, and a few
Barça players will be in the spotlight for this one: Pau Cubarsí and Xavi Espart’s duels against Kylian Mbappé and Yan Diomandé will be crucial for the success of Barça’s defense, Rodri will have a chance to dominate midfield against the club he chose not to join in the summer, and Lamine Yamal will go up against his Spain buddy Marc Cucurella.
The coaching duel between Hansi Flick and Mourinho is also one to watch, and we are certainly in for quite the spectacle at Camp Nou.
So today’s Barca Blaugranes Question of the Day is:
Who do you think will be Barcelona’s biggest X-factor in El Clasico against Real Madrid and why?
