The Portland Trail Blazers could enter Saturday night’s rematch with the Sacramento Kings without Jerami Grant. The veteran forward has been listed on the Blazers’ injury report as questionable with left Achilles tendon soreness.
INJURY REPORT 12/20 @ SAC:
OUT
Javonte Cooke (G League)
Scoot Henderson (L Hamstring Tear)
Jrue Holiday (R Calf Strain)
Damian Lillard (L Achilles Tendon)
Matisse Thybulle (L Thumb Lig. Tear)
Blake Wesley (R Foot Fracture)
QUESTIONABLE
Jerami Grant (L Achilles Tendon Soreness)
Grant
was a key piece in the Blazers’ gut-wrenching, face-palming overtime win against the Kings last night, finishing with 20 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 1 block in 40 minutes. The nature of the injury is also a concern given the potential severity associated with Achilles injuries.
Returns for Jrue Holiday and Matisse Thybulle will have to wait a little longer with the pair still listed as out with a right calf strain and left thumb injury, respectively.
Scoot Henderson (left hamstring tear) and Blake Wesley (right foot fracture) also remain out. Damian Lillard continues to take the season off to recover from his Achilles tear.
Two-way contracted player Javonte Cooke remains with the Rip City Remix.
