It doesn’t take a genius to figure out what John Cena will be doing when he returns to WWE Raw next week. Let’s see what today’s rumors have to say about it!
Top rumor of the day: John Cena’s return to Raw
According to WrestleVotes Radio, the assumption backstage in WWE is that John Cena will provide more details about the John Cena Classic when he returns to Raw next week in Brooklyn. More specifically, Cena will reveal the date and location of the event, as well as how it works.
As far as the Cena Classic is concerned, Votes was told there have
been “an incredible” number of creative meetings about the concept since Cena announced it at Backlash in May. WWE wants to make sure it “looks and feels fresh.” Furthermore, it sounds like Shawn Michaels and AJ Styles were consulted for the project.
One idea that was apparently pitched early on was for the John Cena Classic to be a “showcase” for Club WWE. However, it sounds like it will now be streamed on more than one platform so that more people are able to watch it.
