Noted pundit Didi Hamann can look at Bayern Munich star striker Harry Kane and see how incredible his season has been.
However, Hamman is also aware that Kane is going to have to win a big trophy to take his place among the game’s best player with a Ballon d’Or.
“The Champions League or World Cup for Harry Kane. It needs to be one of the two because I think very rarely somebody wins it unless he’s doing something outrageous if he doesn’t win a big title,” Hamann told NewBettingOffers.co.uk. “If PSG
win it again, I think Vitinha might be a runner. Kane is up there, but the French lads are good.
“They’re serious runners in the competition. Have they got a better chance than England? Maybe a little bit. They’re both two of the favorites to win the World Cup. But if Kane wants to win it, I’d say he’s got to win one of the two.”
What do you think? Does Kane need to win either the UCL or World Cup (or both) to win the Ballon d’Or?
