Angel City FC and Bay FC announced today that midfielder Kennedy Fuller and an international spot are headed north to the Bay in exchange for $500,000 in intra-league transfer funds and $20,000 in allocation money.
Fuller joins Bay FC after just over two seasons with Angel City, where she recorded seven goals and five assists, including two of each across her 11 games this season.
“I’m incredibly excited to join Bay FC and be part of what the club is building,” said Fuller. “From my conversations with
[head coach] Emma [Coates] and the staff, it was clear that this is an environment where players are challenged to grow and reach their potential. I’m looking forward to learning from my teammates, connecting with the fans and doing everything I can to help the team compete for championships.”
This move is the second-largest outgoing transfer in Angel City FC history after Alyssa Thompson’s $1.3 million trade to English side Chelsea FC in September of last year. It is also the fifth-highest transfer in the NWSL.
As of right now, Fuller is signed through the 2026 season with a club option for 2027.
