By now, everyone knows the sordid tail of Bayern Munich attacker Lennart Karl admitting that he might not mind playing at Real Madrid at some point in career.
Of course, that one little statement caused a complete meltdown in some circles of the Bayern Munich fanbase and Karl found that out the hard way.
When asked about the upcoming Champions League showdown between Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, Karl was much more measured.
“A lot, of course. It’s a cool stadium. I’m just really keen to play against
them,“ Karl told Sky Germany journalist Kerry Hau (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Surely, the media assembled with Karl threw that bait out there hoping that he would latch on. However, the youngster was very smart this time around and did not decide to throw any fuel on to the fire. A very mature, intelligent, and honest answer for the 18-year-old phenom.
No too bad, kid!
