The NFL officially kicked off last night in Seattle after the defending champions held on to a close win a Super Bowl rematch against the New England Patriots. Tonight, there’s another game on the schedule ahead of a busy weekend of NFL football which the Dallas Cowboys will conclude this Sunday night.
The Cowboys opened with a very short injury report on Wednesday. So how do they look today? Here is Thursday’s injury report ahead of the Week 1 game versus the New York Giants.
Good news for the Cowboys. Dallas remains largely healthy today (except Tyler Smith, of course). Jonathan Bullard (groin) remains a full participant and Ajani Cornelius (knee) was once again limited at practice.
The only update is that tight end Luke Schoonmaker was absent today for personal reasons.
As for the Giants, it appears their star players will be in the lineup Sunday. Receiver Malik Nabers (knee) and offensive tackle Andrew Thomas (knee) were full participants today. For the remaining players, their status remained the same as yesterday also. Barring any setbacks, what we see today is who will see Sunday night.
