The Kentucky Wildcats are gearing up for their matchup with the Auburn Tigers on Saturday night, as the Cats look to pick up their first SEC win. They will do so incredibly shorthanded at the moment.
After
the initial injury report last night, the Cats will be without 10 scholarship players, including DJ Waller and Ja’Mori Maclin. It also appears they could be without starting cornerback Terhyon Nichols, as he was listed as doubtful, while Seth McGowan has been upgraded to probable.
The BBN has been clamoring for more young guys to take the field, especially after they impressed in the last two games. Well, with Maclin and Troy Stellato both out, they will get several more opportunities in this game.
For the Tigers, starting wideouts Cam Coleman and Malcolm Simmons both got upgraded to probable tonight, meaning the Cats will likely see the duo take the field on Saturday night.
Game day is quickly approaching. It’ll be interesting to see if any major changes happen after practice tomorrow.
