The Cleveland Browns and the rest of the NFL have two game weeks, including Week 8, to decide whether they will be buyers or sellers at the NFL trade deadline. The Browns have been linked to a number of pass rushers, despite having better overall numbers than last year at this time, when they had Myles Garrett, but specific rumors have been pretty limited.
The Indianapolis Colts have begun the process of selling off, while the Tennessee Titans traded away DT Jeffrey Simmons in what is likely the biggest
deal of the deadline (unless QB Justin Herbert gets put on the market).
The Colts are reportedly open to trading RB Jonathan Taylor, among other pieces, ahead of the November 10th deadline, and will face the Browns in Week 17 of the 2026 season.
A look at the rest of Cleveland’s schedule shows a group of teams that are likely to be buyers (or at least stand pat) and a few potential sellers, with the next two weeks likely deciding their direction:
Browns Remaining Schedule
- Week 8: Pittsburgh Steelers 5-2 – Likely Buyers
- Week 9: New Orleans Saints 2-5 – Either Buyers or Sellers: Only 1 game back in the NFC South
- Week 10: Houston Texans 2-5 – Potentially Sellers
- Week 12: Las Vegas Raiders 3-4 – Potentially Sellers: Have lost 4 straight
- Week 13: Cincinnati Bengals 4-2 – Stand Pat: After the big Dexter Lawrence trade, history says they’ll stay with what they have
- Week 14: Atlanta Falcons 3-4: Either Buyers or Sellers: Tied for the NFC South lead despite losing record
- Week 15: New York Giants 4-2: Likely Buyers: Tried to get in on the Simmons sweepstakes
- Week 16: Baltimore Ravens 4-3: Likely Buyers: With Lamar Jackson returning, Ravens could push for more
- Week 17: Indianapolis Colts 2-5: Already Selling: Mo Allie-Cox could be a lower-level trade target for Cleveland
- Week 18: Bengals again
What do you think when you see the Browns schedule? Which teams do you think will be buyers, which will be sellers?
