Liverpool take on Barnsley, who sit in 17th place in League 1, in the 3rd round of the FA Cup. The Cup will probably be Liverpool’s
best chance at silverware, and The Reds, unlike the blue half of Manchester, rarely get such an easy draw in domestic cups. As such, Slot says he’ll run out a strong side tonight, though it is equally likely that is because of Liverpool’s ever deepening injury crisis. Either way, it would be nice to comfortably win a football match once this season (please win this one comfortably, Liverpool).
