There is a strong chance the Las Vegas Raiders may use, at least, one draft pick on the wide receiver position and week and it wouldn’t be a shock if the team using a premium pick on the position.
Las Vegas needs some more juice at wide receiver and and they have been doing their homework and visiting with several prospects at the position.
So, adding another wide receiver makes sense.
If the Raiders do, indeed, take a wide receiver, it will add to a recent trend. According to NFL analyst Warren Sharp,
the Raiders have used the 12th most draft capital on wide receivers in the NFL since 2020. Here is the full list:
Las Vegas added to that trend by taking Jack Bech in the second round and Dont’e Thornton in the fourth round in 2025. Let’s see if draft-capital trend continues in 2026.
