Another week, another loss for the Chargers as they continue to search for their first win of the season.
As the only remaining team without a victory thus far, there’s no other place to rank them than dead last.
So unfortunately there are no surprises in this week’s roundup. If you’re curious to see what analysts are continuing to say about the Chargers now that they’re 0-7, go ahead and continue on below.

The Rams gained 24 yards on the first 15 plays — over their first five possessions — of Sunday’s
game and still beat the Chargers by 15 points. The Bolts continue to repeat the same mistakes (looking at you, Justin Herbert) and haven’t scored a touchdown in 27 drives. It can’t get much worse for the NFL’s only remaining winless team.

“Best in-season trade acquisition ever: WR Wes Chandler in 1981”
“The Chargers had traded star wide receiver John Jefferson to Green Bay early in the season because of a contract holdout and needed a new No. 1 target for Dan Fouts. So they sent a first-round pick, a third-round pick, and wideout Aundra Thompson (who had come from the Packers in the Jefferson deal) to New Orleans for Chandler. From 1981 to 1987, Chandler averaged 917 yards and six touchdowns per season. That included over 1,000 receiving yards in only eight games during the strike-shortened 1982 season.” –Aaron Schatz

“Reality check: Jim Harbaugh has lost his fastball”
“The Chargers fell to 0-7 on Sunday for the first time since 2000, when their current coach was the quarterback. Harbaugh is still fifth among active head coaches in winning percentage (63.9 percent), but he has seemed disconnected from the league’s most bewildering team all year long. Los Angeles is last in the league in offensive EPA (minus-95.56).“ – Chad Graff and Josh Kendall

“Jim Harbaugh’s stubborn refusal to change coordinators could cost him his job.” – Mike Florio

“The Los Angeles Chargers have been hard to watch for two months. They’re the league’s lowest-scoring team, and offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel’s unit hasn’t improved.”
“Coming off a Week 7 bye, the Chargers didn’t score a touchdown against the Los Angeles Rams and turned the ball over twice.”
“Los Angeles is stuck at the bottom of the power rankings, with an offense sinking into futility.” – Moe Moton

“The Chargers’ season is lost, so the obvious move is to trade veterans who can help elsewhere. Mack is clearly at the top of that list. He has started all seven games, has three sacks and can add immediate legitimacy to a defense from the edge. He’s a likely future Hall of Famer and while he isn’t quite the same player at age 35, he’s still an asset. He’s also no stranger to being traded, having been dealt from the Raiders to the Bears and then the Bears to the Chargers earlier in his career.”
“‘You’ve got to be where your feet are man, ultimately,’ Mack said, via Eric Williams of Fox Sports. ‘That can be the most difficult thing when you’re dealing with a lot of outside noise and stuff. Just trying to be where your feet are at all time. That’s kind of been my thing in years past.’”

“The Chargers didn’t really see much change from Justin Herbert after the bye, after he threw two more interceptions to seal the fate against the Rams. He keeps delivering the least bang for the buck among all NFL players.” – Vinnie Iyer

“Only one team this season has lost coming out of its bye week. We’ll give you one guess.” – Nate Davis
