Basically, these are the goals where the player taking the shot added the most value just on shot quality and the saves where the keeper was best able to navigate this unexpected extra shot quality.

McGlynn does a great job keeping a powerful shot out of the net and preserving her team’s lead.
Save 2: Ann-Katrin Berger vs. Portland Thorns (0.94 PSxG on 0.25 xG)
Berger has quick reflexes to keep the scores level for now.
Save 3: Claudia Dickey vs. San Diego Wave (0.55 PSxG on 0.07 xG)
Dickey’s stellar performance is capped off with a great dive to preserve her team’s clean sheet in the dying minutes of the game.
