The NFL offseason schedule moves forward at the speed of light. It is what makes just over four months of actual football be able to fill out almost the entirety of a 12-month schedule. After the 2026 NFL combine finished, all of a sudden, trades were being reported, including the Cleveland Browns adding OT Tytus Howard, while signing him to an extension.
The NFL league year officially opens up next week, where the Howard trade and others will become official. Teams and agents have already discussed
contracts, but we won’t know those until NFL free agency opens.
The NFL draft is almost two months away, but visits for prospects (mistakenly called “Top 30 visits” by many), have started. The Browns have had three come into town:
WR Jordyn Tyson
Tyson is excited about the possibility of joining his brother in Cleveland.
QB Ty Simpson
The Browns have reportedly done extensive work on Simpson, who has a history with HC Todd Monken.
WR Carnell Tate
Tate seems to be the most popular, or at least most mocked, pick for Cleveland at the top of the 2026 NFL draft despite not having the best 40-yard dash time at the NFL combine.
