Barcelona Atletic have confirmed their four team captains for the new 2025-26 league season under new boss Juliano Belletti.
There have been a lot of changes to the team over the summer, following their relegation at the end of last season, meaning it’s all change when it comes to the armband.
Center-back Álvaro Cortés has been named the first captain. He’s joined by Alexis Olmedo, Brian Fariñas and Xavi Espart in the new leadership group for the coming campaign.
Belletti has already made it clear he’s gunning for promotion this year and saw his side get off to a winning start to the season with a 2-0 victory over UE Porreres in their opening fixture.
Victor Barbera and Toni Fernandez were both on target to ensure Barca Atletic kicked off the campaign in positive mood.
Barcelona Atletic will now be hoping for another three points on Sunday when they return to action against Europa.
