Michigan is back from its first bye week of the season to host Wisconsin for the program’s yearly Maize Out game. The Wolverines have not played the Badgers since the 2021 season, which was a huge victory on the road in Madison, 38-17.
We don’t know what this year’s result will look like just yet, but we do know what the players will be wearing on the field on Saturday afternoon. Announced on Friday, the players will be rocking blue jerseys and blue pants for the first time this season. They will also
have the maize accessories as well.
The last time Michigan wore the all-blue uni combo was last season at the Big House against USC. The Wolverines, according to On3’s Clayton Sayfie, are 19-4 overall and 11-1 at home while wearing blue pants. Not a bad record at all, if you ask me.
It’s awesome that the program is breaking out the “big game blues” for this weekend’s matchup to complement the home crowd wearing all maize. This is a great touch and should make for a great atmosphere and a great product on TV.
What do you think of this combo? Let us know down in the comments.
