For the first time ever, hockey will be played at Beaver Stadium. Penn State men’s and women’s hockey will each play a game at the iconic stadium on Saturday, January 31, 2026:
The men’s team will face Michigan State. Both teams are expected to be ranked in the preseason top five and are the two frontrunners for the Big Ten crown. Gavin McKenna, Aiden Fink,
and Charlie Cerrato headline a loaded Penn State roster as the Lions look to head back to the Frozen Four for a second straight year.
The women’s team will take on in-state conference foe Robert Morris. Penn State is seeking to defend its AHA regular season and tournament championships and make the NCAA tournament for the fourth straight season. Tessa Janecke retuns for her final ride after being named a second-team All-American last season and setting the program record for career points (153).
