TJ Parker was supposed to be a star first-rounder, but he hasn’t been super impactful. Peter Woods hasn’t dominated. Wade Woodaz at linebacker isn’t the star I thought he’d be. Safety Khalil Barnes didn’t develop into the star I’d hoped. Safety Ricardo Jones didn’t have the breakout many expected after a promising freshman year. I don’t know how to explain it. It’s not just coaching. The defense will need an FSU-level portal offseason.
