Coming out of WrestleMania 42 week in Las Vegas, there were plenty of stories about bad fan/wrestler interactions. Those were apparently exacerbated by WWE booking its Superstars in a hotel/casino resort without a secure entrance for guests with rooms. But the stories have continued, with many happening at the place where fans have long had access to pro wrestlers: airports.
That’s where the latest one happened. A fan posted a video of Oba Femi and Jey Uso sitting, presumably waiting for a flight.
He captioned it with:
I was the only person in the Sky Club [Delta’s lounge for frequent fliers and premium customers] to recognize Oba Femi and Jey Uso. Jey snarled at me when I tried to tell him about how I took him at [sic] WWE Clash in Paris last year. Whatevs, Oba is over, Jey is cold, and Roman Reigns is still the OTC!
After that had been shared around the wrestle web for about 12 hours, Jey responded with:
Yall run straight to the internet after
LAMFS 😂😂😂
I thought that acronym stood for “like a m****f*****”, but the way Uso’s using I’m guessing he means it as “lame-ass m****f*****s”.
With more than a few of these — in fact, every one that I can recall from recent years — the more information that comes out, the worse the “fan” looks.
Do you think that will be the case here? Was Main Event Jey playing the heel (probably shouldn’t have been chilling with Oba if was “living the gimmick”)? Worried about the frequency with which these seem to be occurring?
