The Biggest Game in The Game takes place this Sunday and it could be a historic one for Barcelona as they look to clinch the La Liga title against Real Madrid in the latest edition of El Clásico.
The world always stops to watch the two Spanish giants to head-to-head, and these two teams almost always deliver spectacles when they meet. Barça fans have had a lot of good Clásico moments this century, and whether you’re a newer fan or one who’s been watching the Blaugrana for a long time, we all have pretty
fun memories of unforgettable moments against Real Madrid.
Who can forget the 5-0 win against José Mourinho and Cristiano Ronaldo in 2010, or the Champions League semi-finals and Lionel Messi’s historic solo goal in 2011, or the 2017 win at the Bernabéu when Messi had a bloody nose and scored the winner after a sensational team move, resulting in perhaps the most iconic celebration in Clásico history?
There’s also plenty of recent great memories, like the two dominant Spanish Super Cup wins in 2025 and 2026 and last year’s epic Copa del Rey Final victory in extra-time. There are also two fantastic recent 4-0 wins at the Bernabéu, one under Xavi Hernández and another under Hansi Flick, that felt like giant statements from Barça at their specific times. And if you’re an older fan, you will always remember Gary Lineker’s hat-trick in a 5-0 win back in 1987.
