Welcome to the Morning Commute
Today we are talking about Mizzou Football!
Mizzou Football announced that its Week 3 matchup against Troy at home will mark the 100th anniversary celebration of Memorial Stadium. The game will include special recognitions, commemorative moments and fan activities.
In other news, ESPN’s Pete Thamel gave an update on Ahmad Hardy’s status:
Definitely not the answer Mizzou fans were looking for but better than hearing he is out for the season. Plenty more updates to come so stay up to date on the RockM+ forums.
Yesterday at Rock M and Rock M+
A historic season for the Mizzou Women’s Golf program has come to an end on Memorial Day Monday. The Tigers were at the NCAA Championships for the 2nd time in program history and the first time since 2005.
Lots to be happy about heading into the offseason of a historic golf season for the Tigers.
For Missouri, this will be the first football trip to Lawrence since 2005 when they ignominiously lost 13-3. Missouri will be breaking in a ton of new pieces on both sides of the ball, and the Drinkwitz staff doesn’t have the most sterling road record.
This game should answer a lot of questions… And be a lot of fun.
The postseason stage is set, and Missouri track & field will bring 16 star athletes to the 2026 NCAA Track & Field West Regional Championships. The meet will run from May 27–30 at the John McDonnell Field in Fayetteville.
Big week coming up for Mizzou T&F.
This opening will be yet another adjustment for the Tigers program, who seems to have become accustomed to it by now. Two Missouri players have already departed into the portal this offseason.
Seems like a program in dire need of a change. Maybe this is it.
Over at Rock M+ we have more Mizzou football discussion and basketball discussion with the offseason picking up for football and basketball.
