According to Mike Klis of 9News, the Denver Broncos have waived wide receiver Michael Bandy. Undrafted in 2020, he spent time on the Chargers’ practice squad before joining Denver in 2023 and has spent most of his time on the practice squad there as well.
Michael Bandy entered the NFL undrafted in 2020 after a solid FCS career at the University of San Diego, where he dominated as a sharp route-runner with strong
hands and playmaking ability. He started with the Chargers on their practice squad, carving out a depth role before the Broncos signed him in 2023 for added wideout depth. In Denver, Bandy has also been mostly a practice squad player, earning a brief regular-season call-up in 2024.
As Klis noted, he’ll be a strong practice squad candidate for the Broncos. They obviously like him as he has stuck with the team for several years now.
