Dallas made a major move when they traded for George Pickens last season and paired him with CeeDee Lamb. The former feels they are the league’s best combination at wide receiver.
In 2025, the Cowboys’ WR tandem of CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens combined for 2,506 receiving yards, the second most from a WR duo in the NFL just 12 yards behind Detroit’s Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams.
On Sunday, Lamb and Pickens kick off their second full season playing next to one another. Pickens, who earned his first career Pro Bowl nod in his first season with Dallas last year, feels he and Lamb are the best duo in the league.
“Yeah, we definitely think we’re the best,” Pickens said. “Now, for everybody’s brains and mindsets, I don’t know what they’re going to say. For us, yeah, we’re the best.”

Terence Steele has had his ups and downs with the Cowboys, and the team even added veteran Broderick Jones to compete with him at right tackle. However, he still feels he’s the guy for the job.
Steele hasn’t let the criticism get to him. He’s remained focused, and it’s shown in practices — that gives the Cowboys confidence he’ll start.
“Hasn’t changed at all from his work ethic, his mindset,” Schottenheimer said. “He’ll be the first guy to practice [Wednesday], I’m sure, going through his pre-practice routine. Again, all I can say is he’s done a really good job with the reps that we’ve had. And I was not surprised when I called him and informed him of what we were doing that he didn’t hesitate. He understands the business.”

Klayton Adams helped the Cowboys improved in the running game in 2025 as that’s been his area of expertise. During the offseason, he expanded his role to the passing game.
This offseason, while Schottenheimer spent a large amount of time reconstructing the defensive side of the ball, Adams took on a bigger leadership role on the offensive side in evolving the unit.
“He’s stepped right in and not missed a beat,” Foster said. “He’s taken on that leadership role, he’s a natural leader. His personality fits that room, and it’s cool to see him grow into that role from year one to year two.”
Part of that responsibility has been developing a deeper understanding of what the Cowboys try to accomplish in the pass game. In having two weapons like CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens, Adams has said that it has opened his offensive mind completely.

The Cowboys are set to take on their NFC East rivals on Sunday. Defensive tackle and captain, Quinnen Williams, wants to establish the physicality early and often.
On paper, this stands to be a test of physicality for Williams and the new-look Cowboys’ defense coordinated by Christian Parker. Cam Skattebo, as one example, is a bruiser of a running back that seeks out contact on a regular basis, but that’s something that, to put it plainly, tickles Williams’ fancy.
In other words, Williams can’t wait to unleash on an opposing jersey again, and for a Cowboys’ team he is ecstatic to be a part of.
“I enjoy going against [physical players],” he said. “I enjoy playing football. and that’s football — that’s the mindset. Every single week is going to be physical. Every single week is going to be tough. So, like I said, just really focus on our personal craft. getting better and just ready to go to compete.”

By now, it should be well-known on both sides just how dominant Prescott has been against the Giants. The record of 14-3 speaks for itself, but Prescott hasn’t lost in a game where he’s started and finished against New York since his rookie year, when he lost both matchups.
