The Pittsburgh Steelers are looking to exorcise some demons when they take on the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday night. They have never won a road divisional game on Thursday night under Mike Tomlin, and
are 1-5 in their last six Thursday night games.
The Bengals have lost their last four games, and are shorthanded due to Joe Burrow being out of the lineup and Joe Flacco being thrust in as the starter less than a week after being traded from the Cleveland Browns. However, the Steelers will be without at least one key player, as well as one of their top defenders.
Calvin Austin is out as he continues to recover from a shoulder injury. On top of that, safety DeShon Elliott is questionable with a personal issue, per Nick Farabaugh of PennLive.
Elliott missed two games with a knee injury he sustained in Week 1 against the New York Jets. Should he be out Thursday, expect more Chuck Clark and Jabrill Peppers.
