AEW wrestler Anthony Henry last wrestled on Dynamite and Ring of Honor in July. He explained his absence from the ring tonight on social media. The Workhorseman needs surgery and says his neck is ’kinda screwed.‘
“I haven’t been active on here, but I at least wanted to give any fans of myself or the #Workhorsemen an update. My neck is kinda screwed. I will need surgery. The herniated disc is on the spinal cord itself, which makes this even more scary. Recovery is anywhere from 3-6 months.”
Henry followed up with a more optimistic post vowing to return to the ring better than ever.
“With that being said, I plan on returning a new, better, stronger, and more motivated version of myself. Thank you to AEW and the medical staff for taking such good care of me throughout all of this. I can’t wait to be back in an AEW again ASAP!”
We wish Henry the best as he works his way back to the ring while facing a tough road ahead.
