According to a report from Tz journalists Mano Bonke and Vinzent Tschirpke (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Konrad Laimer, Josip Stanišic, and Sacha Boey are all still out as was expected. Because of that, Joshua Kimmich could start at right-back for the Champions League match vs. Royale Union Saint-Gilloise:
With Laimer, Stanišic, Boey all out, and after Tom Bischof struggled against Leipzig in an unfamiliar position, Joshua Kimmich is fit again to start and could play at right-back against Union Saint-Gilloise
tomorrow.
On Monday, Sky Germany’s Kerry Hau noted that Laimer and Stanišic are doing rehab indoors and that both are targeting a February return:
Konrad Laimer (muscle fiber tear in the calf) and Josip Stanisic (capsule ligament injury in the ankle joint) are already making their first small rehab progress. Both trained loosely on the ergometer on Monday. In February, Laimer and Stanisic want to play again.
X account @iMiaSanMia noted that Nicolas Jackson, who won AFCON with Senegal, is still out as well. On a positive note, aside of the aforementioned players, everyone else is healthy:
Josip Stanišić and Konrad Laimer (both injured), Sacha Boey (ill) and Nicolas Jackson (still in Senegal) are not training with the team ahead of tomorrow’s game. The rest of the players are available.
