The Cleveland Browns are often described as a soap opera. The problem with that analogy is that soap operas tend to have a lot more highs and climaxes than the Browns have had over the years. A tragedy wrapped in a comedy is sadly a better comparison.

Yesterday, a report came out that Mike McDaniel had pulled himself out of the Cleveland head coach search. In fact, as more news came out, McDaniel had also pulled himself out of the Baltimore Ravens and Las Vegas Raiders
head coach searches and all other offensive coordinator options as well. Yet, the Browns have earned the privilege of being the recipient of the jokes.
The drama continued with former Cleveland QB Baker Mayfield throwing a shot at former Browns HC Kevin Stefanski.

Wednesday morning, a Cleveland legend and Hall of Famer, Joe Thomas, weighed in:
Everyone is going to have an opinion, but a former player as respected as Thomas has earned the ear of Browns fans.
