Earlier this year, “Daddy Ass” Billy Gunn said the New Age Outlaws will never wrestle together again because 57-year-old Road Dogg can’t go in the ring anymore. He did add in the caveat that it might be possible if Road just stands on the apron and lets Gunn do all the work.
I guess a light bulb went off in Jeff Jarrett’s head when he heard that idea, because Dogg is now being advertised for a six-man tag team main event match on October 22 at Jeff Jarrett’s All Star Super Slam at Pig Fest in Hendersonville,
Tennessee. Dogg’s partners are Jarrett and Jay Lethal, with QT Marshall, Brady Booker, and Elijah Drago standing across the ring from them. It will be Road’s first match since January 2015, when the New Age Outlaws lost to The Ascension at WWE Royal Rumble.
You can click here for more information on the event, which also features a Pigfest Battle Boar-yal.
Did you think Road Dogg would land in a match at Pig Fest after leaving WWE this year and not getting a job with AEW? Let me know if you think Jarrett’s Roadie will do more than just stand on the ring apron during his return match, Cagesiders.
