CM Punk made his WWE television debut 20 years ago this month. To celebrate, WWE is offering fans 20% off tickets to upcoming events.
WWE announced Thursday on social media that fans can use promo code PUNK20
to receive the discount as the company honors its current Undisputed Champion.
Punk’s first WWE television match came on the August 1 episode of ECW on Sci Fi, where he defeated former ECW World Champion Justin Credible.
Over the next seven and a half years, Punk won several major championships,
including the WWE Championship and the original World Heavyweight Championship. In 2014, he had a tumultuous falling out with the company, leading to a tell-all interview that fall.
Punk appeared to be done with wrestling until making a long-awaited return in 2021, when he joined AEW. Following a series of backstage blowouts, though, AEW released him near the end of summer 2023. WWE then rehired Punk that fall, bringing him back at Survivor Series.
The 20% discount appears valid only for events featuring Punk, including this weekend’s NXT live event in Virginia, Sunday Night’s Main Event, and other live TV shows, tapings, and house shows.
The offer also applies to Worlds Collide, which takes place in Punk’s hometown of Chicago. That could suggest Punk will appear on the show in some capacity. Money in the Bank, on October 10, is not included.
WWE’s latest promotional offer follows a summer full of savings, as the company offered 25% to 30% off select events, including SummerSlam.
