Well folks, with Friday now on the clock the powers that be above my pay grade have decided that the polls have closed and it’s time to share the results of this week’s survey. We continue to be limited to one question for now. So with football fast approaching I wanted to get your take on what the final non-conference record for the 2026 Purdue football team will be. Keep in mind that Purdue has three home games this non-conference against Indiana State, Wake Forest, and Notre Dame. Could be two
pretty tough opponents there so let’s go to the results!
A surprisingly optimistic crew today as a majority, 61%, believe that Purdue football will come out of the non-conference season with a winning 2-1 record. Now, if you include the 4% who believe Purdue will finish 3-0 you’ve actually got a 65% majority that believes Purdue will have a winning record after their three non-conference games. That seems…overly charitable to me but hey, what do I know?
On the other end of the spectrum we’ve got the beaten down and broken 2% who think Purdue will come out of their three non-conference games with an 0-3 record and that seems equally as crazy to me. Surely Purdue won’t lose to Indiana State. Right? Let’s hope not!
