Another week of disaster for the locks post with a couple bad beats that just missed a special week for the boys.
We need some new blood to help us through this season it seems. After going 2-3 last week, we’re sitting at 7-9 for the year on our picks that are supposed to be making you rich.
Time to shake off the Clay Travis vibes or just start fading the hell out of the Cup.
Writing this post from the local Mexican restaurant with a fresh Dos Equis Amber and a steaming molcajete on the table, and I
asked my waiter “Victor” to certify these are locks. He did, so this is on his dumbass if it doesn’t work.
WEEK FOUR CFB LOCKS
- South Alabama at Kentucky (-20.5) – The Wildcats have burnt me twice this season already, so it’s time to make some money on these guys. Will Stein in year one has them ready to go every damn week, and its going to be a blowout win in Lexington. UK covers over USA.
- No. 3 Notre Dame at Purdue (+27.5) – The Boilermakers are bad this year, and Notre Dame is not really showing any flaws against bad teams so far. Betting on the Irish to cover even though its on the road and its four touchdowns? I think Purdue has enough OFFENSE to keep it a little closer even though it will likely be 52-28 or something.
- Oklahoma at No. 2 Georgia (-13.5) – The Sooners just haven’t looked good the last two weeks, and a road trip to Athens probably isn’t fixing that. Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs are nearly untouchable at home, so I’m thinking this one might get uglier than two touchdowns as margin in a UGA win.
- No. 4 Ole Miss at No. 21 Florida (O/U 59.5) – Both of these teams are going to be locked in and looking for a big win to close out the first third of the season. Explosive offensive playmakers on both sides of the ball, and its two coaches that know each other pretty well. Give me all the points as the OVER is going to hit this week after just missing last week.
