The Atlanta Braves evened the series against the Chicago Cubs after Tuesday night’s 6-3 win. Martín Pérez got the start, lasting six innings and allowing three runs on five hits. He walked two and struck out four. Though a bit of a shaky start, Pérez ultimately got the win, the 100th of his career.
The Braves got some much needed insurance in the ninth, courtesy of Drake Baldwin’s two-run blast. Pérez kept the Braves in the game, the offense
came through, and the magic number dwindled to 5.
