It’s week 15 of the NFL season and the New York Jets are on the road in Jacksonville, Florida to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. EST.
The Jets are currently 3-10. They
have been eliminated from playoff contention for the 15th straight season. To make matters worse, the Jets will be giving Brady Cook, an undrafted rookie quarterback, his first NFL start today, with Adrian Martinez backing him up. That is … less than ideal.

Tank commanders are rooting for the Jets to lose their remaining games for improved draft position. Others are still rooting for Jets victories. If you’re in the latter category, today’s road game against the Jacksonville Jaguars doesn’t look promising.
The Jaguars have put together a remarkable turnaround this season. After finishing 4-13 last year, the Jaguars are currently sitting in first place in the AFC South with a 9-4 record. They have won four straight games, three of them by 17+ points. The Jaguars appear to peaking, just in time to steamroll the Jets.
The Jets like to run the ball. That will be particularly important with Cook under center, Garrett Wilson still out, and Mason Taylor sidelined with a neck injury. No credible quarterback and no credible receivers do not bode well for the Jets passing game. Unfortunately for the Jets, the Jaguars have one of the best run defenses in the NFL. This game could get ugly.
It’s the New York Jets seeking their fourth victory of the 2025 season against the Jacksonville Jaguars today. Enjoy the game everyone.
