We’re just two weeks away from Saint Nick dropping by your home to spread Christmas cheer—and a gentle reminder to re-up your Netflix subscription so you can watch what the NFL has to offer. But until
then, we can watch football as our forefathers intended: broadcasted across local TV stations from coast to coast.
As we have done in past seasons, our staff will be making weekly predictions for every game on the NFL schedule. Each of the Pride of Detroit staff will pick the moneyline (winner of the game, no spread), but some of the members will also pick against the spread and even the over/under lines—there’s an easy-to-use toggle button in the widget below to cycle through the settings and in the week’s ahead, check out our records when it comes to making picks. You can also check out all of the odds for this week’s games courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.
At 8:15 p.m. ET over on Amazon Prime, we get back to divisional matchups when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-6) host the Atlanta Falcons (4-9) from Raymond James Stadium for this week’s installment of “Thursday Night Football.”
All teams have had their bye week at this point in the season—but boy would it be nice to add an 18th game so these guys can get a second bye week in the future—so the NFL has 14 games scheduled for Sunday.
The local Detroit audience will have a couple of options to choose from in the 1 p.m. slot. On CBS, most Michigan residents will get an AFC East showdown between the two teams at the top: the Buffalo Bills (9-4) versus the New England Patriots (11-2). Over on FOX in the same time slot, the Cleveland Browns (3-10) travel to the Windy City to take on the Chicago Bears (9-4) in what’s shaping up to be the coldest game in the history of Soldier Field to round out your local coverage at 1 p.m. ET. In the late window, CBS has a matchup between respective divisional leaders when the Green Bay Packers (9-3-1) face off against the Denver Broncos (11-2) at 4:25 p.m. ET. On FOX, the Detroit Lions (8-5) ditch the polar vortex for the sunny left coast and a showdown with the Los Angeles Rams (10-3) from SoFi Stadium at 4:25 p.m. ET.
“Sunday Night Football” closes out the day of football with a matchup between two NFC teams: the Minnesota Vikings (5-8) play the Dallas Cowboys (6-6-1) at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC/Peacock.
On ESPN, the Miami Dolphins (6-7) travel to western Pennsylvania for a primetime matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers (7-6) for “Monday Night Football” at 8:15 p.m. ET.
Here is who our staff is picking on the moneyline, spread, and over/under for all 16 games on the NFL Week 15 schedule:
