FanDuel Odds & Thoughts
Boise State/Washington: Boise State +8.5, O/U 52.5
- FanDuel thinks the Huskies will have to much firepower for a Bronoco squad that is coming off of a quick turnaround. They expect Washington to win this game by more than a touchdown.
The Broncos are coming off of a convincing victory over UNLV in the Mountain West Championship game. Boise State quarterback Maddux Madsen is back and coming off arguably his best performance of the season on the biggest stage. The Huskies will also have to contend with the two-headed rushing attack led by 1,000 yard rusher Dylan Riley and 800 yard rusher Sire Gaines. The Broncos will have their hands full trying to control the trenches and establish the run early on.
In recent weeks, Boise State has struggled against the run and they will face their stiffest test since traveling to Notre Dame to take on the Fighting Irish. Jonah Coleman and Adam Mohammed are elite running backs with a solid mix of size and speed. Quarterback Demond Williams is also a threat to make big plays with his legs.
The Huskies and Broncos do have one common opponent in Colorado State. The Huskies beat the Rams 38-21 to open the season, a game that was close till the fourth quarter. The Broncos dominated the Rams 49-21 a few weeks ago, in a game that wasn’t as close as the final score indicates.
