Former WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury is making his return to boxing against 46-year-old journeyman Mariusz Wach on Fri., July 24, 2026 at Max Muay Thai Stadium in Pattaya, Thailand. That’s just one day before Anthony Joshua battles Kristian Prenga in Saudi Arabia.
Fury and Joshua are expected to collide at some point later this year.
“This man’s nearly two-and-a-half stone heavier than me, and I’m usually a fucking fat cunt, ain’t I?” Fury said after weighing in at 265 against 291.4 for Wach.
“Mr. Slim now. Look, I want to keep busy. I’m not banking myself on any fucking fight that’s happening that might not happen or whatever, but I want to keep busy.”
Fury vs. Wach will not air until Season 3 of At Home With The Furys, the boxer’s goofy reality show.
“I’m a fighter, so the main thing I’ve always wanted to do and never been able to do it is stay busy all the time,” Fury added. “This year is the year of Tyson Fury staying busy, so whatever happens, I’m just going to stay busy throughout the year. Who knows how many fights? I might have fucking 10 fights this year.”
